Supporting Your Child At Home

Parents are always welcome in our school and teachers and the headteacher are always happy to see you and discuss your children’s progress. You do not need to make an appointment to see us, but if you need to talk in more detail or privately, let us know and we will arrange a time and space to suit us both. Teachers are always available before school in the playground when they collect the children from their lines.

There are lots of different ways that you can support your child at home – examples are given below for reading, writing and maths.

At the start of each week, children from Year 1 up to Year 6 will come home with a letter explaining what they will be doing in class in Literacy and Maths, as well as any important messages for you.
