School Clubs

Breakfast and After School Club

If you are a working parent and need additional childcare, we run a breakfast club from 7:45am each morning and an after school club until 6:00pm. These are open to children of all ages. The current daily prices for these are:

Breakfast Club: £4

After School Club: £11 (or £7 if picked up before 4:45pm)

These clubs are run by school staff, overseen by the school’s Senior Leadership Team.

Please see below for our Breakfast and After School Club Agreement for September 2025:

Breakfast and After School Club Parent/Carer Agreement

Terms and Conditions of using Breakfast and After School Club from September 2025.

  • Breakfast Club begins at 7:45am and no children will be admitted before this time.
  • Children must be brought to the Fitzalan Street gate. They can either walk in on their own through the playground and office, or their parent/ carer can bring them to the office. Parents must not enter the breakfast club room.
  • Food will only be served if children arrive by 8:30am.
  • Children must be collected from the After-School Club by 6pm at the latest (or by 4:45pm if booked in for the shorter session).
  • A late collection penalty of £10 per 10 minutes will be applied from 6:01pm.
  • Repeated lateness will result in a cancellation of future bookings meaning the child/ children will no longer be able to attend.
  • Sessions must be booked online and fees must be paid in advance (unless using one of the childcare voucher systems that we accept).
  • We do not accept cash bookings.
  • Any short notice requests (within 7 days) cannot be booked online and must be done through speaking to a member of the office staff. If there are available spaces, we will then book the place for you and you must then make the payment.
  • Refunds cannot be given for any missed or cancelled sessions unless we have been informed of this at least 7 days in advance. In these cases, refunds will be done by crediting your accounts.
  • Usual school standards of behaviour will be expected. Children who fail to abide by our school rules will receive sanctions in line with our behaviour policy. In extreme circumstances, the emergency contact will be telephoned and immediate collection of the pupil will be expected.
  • We must have at least three emergency contacts on the child’s file in order for the clubs to be used.
  • Once children have been collected, we ask that parents/carers immediately vacate the school playground for health and safety reasons.
  • Charges for using Breakfast and After School Club:
  • Breakfast Club: £4 per day
  • After-School Club until 4:45pm: £7 per day
  • After-School Club until 6pm: £11 per day
  • After-School Club after an activity club (4:30-6pm): £7 per day
