Home Learning Year 6 Autumn term
In addition to the Home Learning tasks in the booklets, the year 4, 5 and 6 children will be set homework using IXL, which is an internet-based programme. At the start of the week on the ‘What we are doing in class’ newsletter that we send home we will state the specific areas of maths and grammar that we would like your child to work on. These tasks will also be marked with a gold star when the children log on so they know which tasks to complete.
The website address is https://uk.ixl.com and your child will be given a username and password to use.
Each week they will be expected to spend two or three 30 minute sessions on the directed Maths tasks or grammar tasks (so one and a half hours in total).
