Special Educational Needs

All Lambeth maintained schools have a similar approach to meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and are supported by the Local Authority to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs,make the best possible progress in school. 

All schools are supported to be as inclusive as possible, with the needs of pupils with a Special Educational Need/s and or Disabilities being met in a mainstream setting wherever possible, where families want this to happen.

The school will meet the needs of children with the following SEND:

Social, mentaland emotional health

Sensory /physical

The school has an accessibility plan, which is reviewed and updated annually, and this document covers the following three areas:

  • increasing the extent to which pupils with disabilities can participate in our curriculum
  • improving our school's physical environment to increase the extent to which pupils with disabilities can take advantage of the education, benefits, facilities or services we provide
  • improving the delivery of information to pupils with disabilities
